  1. Despite the recent tsunami in Samoa, the Convention will still take place as follows:
    Dates: 16-24 November 2009
Venue: Maliu Mai Bar & Restaurant, Fugalei, Apia, Samoa
  2. Registration Forms: many artists have already completed and submitted to me their registration forms. Please if you have not done so already, I have attached the registration form to this email for easy reference. Please complete it and return it to my via email as soon as possible.
  3. Registration Fees: all artists will be required to pay their registration fee of USD300 during Open Registration on Monday, 16 November 2009 from 9:00am to 11:00am at the Convention site.
  4. Accommodation: a friendly reminder to all artists that accommodation arrangements are the responsibility of each artist. The Organizing Committee recommends that hotel reservations be done immediately as the Convention will be taking place during the busy season of the year and accommodation of choice may not be readily available if left too late. We recommend the following hotels/motels due to their proximity to the Convention site:
    • Hennie's Motel (Fugalei)
    • Valentine's Motel (Fugalei)
    • Tatiana Motel (Fugalei)
    • Apia Central Hotel (Saleufi)
    • Hotel Elisa (Sogi)
    • Eden's Edge (Togafuafua)
    • Aggie Grey's Hotel (Apia, Vaisigano)

Please visit www.visitsamoa.ws (Official website for the Samoa Tourism Authority) for more details as well as contact information for the above hotels/motels for bookings/reservations.

  5. Travel Details/Itineraries: please forward your confirmed travel itineraries to me as soon as possible. This information will guarantee 'Meet and Greet' Service at the airport upon arrival. Please note: The Organizing Committee will not be responsible for any participating artist who does not supply their travel details prior to their arrival and any transportation expenses incurred will be the responsibility of the artist(s).

Thank you for your patience and kind cooperation. Please feel free to contact me at this email address if you have any queries.

We hope to hear from you all very soon!

Kind regards, Tomasi Sulu`ape
